“Where are you now” is usually the first question I hear when I speak with friends and family; which initiates short stories and discussions around “what is it like” or “how is the food” (I thoroughly enjoy all types of food and usually have strange encounters). Therefore, I thought I would pose the question first and provide the answer using this blog. *Note, I am a first time blogger so go easy on me.

Sannu da zuwa / ị bịala / Ẹ ku abọ – Welcome! in Hausa, Igbo and Yuroba (languages of Nigeria)

Nigeria is in the western part of Africa, bordering the Gulf of Guinea, between Benin and Cameroon. It is made up of 36 states and its Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. I have been informed that it is similar to the U.S. Washington, DC – the government city.

I plan to use this blog to record my experience and share the interesting encounters (food, fun, fashion, culture, etc.) as I support international development through my work. I encourage all to stop by from time to time and share in this new adventure I am about to embark on.
